Rough Sundays 10: Tyson Meade, The Godfather of Alternative Music
Sunday Apr 22, 2018
Sunday Apr 22, 2018
Tyson Meade is one of the last great rockstars. As quirky as he is kind, as talented as 1001 Insta-famous kids these days. He and his bands Defenestration and the Chainsaw Kittens fueled the alternative scene of the early 90s and bands like the Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana have both accredited Meade with being the reason they exist. From hanging with Iggy to moving to Shanghai to teach English, his most-recent album which dropped yesterday and his running for congress, prepare to meet a legend deserving of the title.
David Bowie - Big Brother
Patti Smith - Horses (Land)(Full studio version)
Tyson Meade - Buddy Dash
Flaming Lips - She's Gone Mad (Chainsaw Kittens cover)
Tyson Meade - He's the Candy
... And be sure to buy Tyson's newest album "Robbing The Nuclear Family" - in stores now!
